![]() It's going to be either Sony Crapstation, Microsoft Junksbox or Nintendo Bitch. Well, I get to get a new console this year. This means it is literally the ONLY $10 BILLION grossing "failure"!! The proof comes from articles like this:Īnd of course articles like this are not only ignored by Wikipedia, they're flat out shunned, because they don't agree with their opinion: It actually made just enough to finally turn itself into the black, and squeeze out a little bit of money for Nintendo. See? The Wii U was NOT this massive commercial failure sites like Wikipedia would have readers believe. ![]() Software: 102.53 million, rounded to 102 million x $60 = 6.1 BILLIONĪdding them together you get $3.9 billion + $6.1 billion = $10 billion!! ![]() Hardware: 13.56 million, rounded to 13 million x $300 = $3.9 BILLION We'll even round DOWN in sales to show it still made $10 billion. Ignoring the few that were higher/lower than these amounts, the averages still hold true for the majority. On average, Wii U games cost $60, with systems $300. Don't believe it made that much? The math doesn't lie. You read that right, the Wii U grossed $10 BILLION and was considered to be a "failure", because it didn't reach the 100 million hardware sales of the Wii.
